How Sustainable Wine Tours Saw a 13x Increase in Clicks

As the travel industry moves more online, having a robust SEO content strategy is key to standing out and maintaining a competitive advantage over others. Sustainable Wine Tours, a leading travel agency approached us here at CausalFunnel looking to grow their online presence and attract more customers through effective travel SEO techniques. Their goal was to significantly improve their search engine visibility and book more tours. Our team worked on refining their SEO content strategy, optimizing for seasonal keywords, and employing industry-specific best practices to improve their visibility in search engine results. Additionally, the company had not been optimizing their website for seasonal keywords or conducted an in-depth SEO competitor analysis checklist to review. This left them at a disadvantage in the competitive tourism market where keyword optimization was essential for capturing attention.

Case Study

Here at CausalFunnel we began by conducting a detailed technical site audit in order to evaluate the current state of Sustainable Wine Tours website so that we could identify key areas for improvement. This audit led our team to discover that there were issues with user experience, crawlability, and page speed which were hurting the site’s performance and user engagement levels. So, our SEO specialists began working to enhance the site’s technical aspects, addressing these issues to ensure that search engines could efficiently index the pages properly.  This meant that users could navigate the website more seamlessly, resulting in improved site speed and overall usability of the site.

In addition to content creation, we also focused on building backlinks from authoritative, travel-related websites with high domain authority (DA). This is a great way to boost the agency’s search rankings but also help establish credibility within the travel industry. We wanted to enhance the trust among their target audience. The backlinks were specifically chosen to drive traffic from high-quality sources to ensure that Sustainable Wine Tours content reached the right audience. As a result, it contributed to an improved search engine performance in the competitive travel sector.
