They have a loyal and highly engaged customer base but among the relatively newer visitors there was significant funnel leakage. A considerable cohort of newer customers were leaving the website after browsing multiple products and/or adding to cart due to various reasons. Some visitors were turned off by high shipping costs even though they live nearby or some were looking to buy multiple items but were not getting enough incentives to do so.

The teams worked together to come up with incentives for the two prominent personas that were high on abandonment – i) Free Shipping, and ii) discount on multiple items purchase.
