Wow Cup sells patented baby, kids and adult drink wares. They are a much loved brand and have many channels for reaching their consumers including Amazon, Wowcup.com, Target etc
David Tognarelli, the owner of Wow Cup, approached CausalFunnel aiming to boost sales for the D2C website in order to generate better margins. The team gathered the visitor behavior data for three weeks to derive statistical patterns of the user visiting the website. We identified leakges in the customer flow path and deployed persona nudges at these fail points to boost the sales.
We deployed the data gathering script for 3 weeks from 8th August to 28th August 2022. Based off of the patterns discovered we went live with the persona nudges from 29th August onwards. The data below is the weekly numbers from 08th August till 25th September – a total of 1.5 months. The first 3 weeks are without nudges and the last 4 weeks are with nudges (We are hiding the actual numbers for privacy reasons). As you can see the improvement in number of orders more than doubled post nudge deployment. The average number of orders per week on the website increased by 125.32%.
